Very nice solid cabinet
Beautiful piece of furniture! Much better than I had thought it would be. Solid cherry woodwork. Beautifully crafted. I absolutely love it.
Delivery was curb-side only. I was expecting a veneer finish "put-it-together" type piece. I wasn't expecting a fully assembled hardwood piece of furniture (although the lower cabinet and upper hutch are separate pieces and some easy assembly is required to attach the legs to the cabinet and finials to the hutch). It is very heavy and I had to get some helpers to move it in and lift the hutch onto the cabinet.
My only complaint is that the electrical cord for the lights at the top only comes down to about the middle of the lower cabinet. If I had realized that at first, perhaps I could have placed it so that the cord could plug into the socket behind the cabinet. But we already had it up against the wall and it is far too heavy to move around; so I had to use a short extension cord to another socket. A longer cord would have...

Hard to tell
The buffet and hutch looked exactly like I wanted, right color, richness, etc. However, I had to decline the shipment because it was badly damaged. One door's glass was broken, one door's glass wasn't installed, but it was intact. However, one corner of the hutch was completely smashed.
On a positive note, the company was very easy to work with and had no problem with me declining the order. It appeared to be a problem with the shipper as the box was badly damaged.
Furniture Creations has worked almost on a daily basis with getting a replacement and has requested a different shipper and that it be on a bigger pallet, and pallets at top and bottom. I have been very pleased with their level of customer service and direct contact. The same person emails me with progress on my new cabinet.
Have to give them a five star on customer service.
