The assembly was not that hard, but unpacking was. It is packaged very well, and that is good considering all the glass. If you are not familiar with European type door hinges, I suggest you find out how to adjust them from someone, or get ready to figure out what screw adjustment does what. Also, screwing on the little door and drawer handles requires some man handling at times. Be careful you don't cross thread the screws .... in fact, thread the screws into the knobs for practice before putting each one into its place. You can avoid some stubborn threads that way. Considering the prices charged for this type of furniture found on the web and in stores, the price is very good. This is not high end stuff, but it looks pretty good in our dining room. Saved at least $700.00 by going this route. Recommended.
