Cheap cheap minishelf. Made in Malaysia, not China
First up for those politically minded, this is NOT from China, but Malaysia.
White plastic poles and nice light laminate pattern. Bright and cheery. The chipboard/particle board construction is typical for this grade of furniture. The tubes are cheap plastic, but sturdy enough as long as you don't try to overload the whole thing. You can cram it full of paperback books and it'll hold up on the lower levels. The top is good for another fifty pounds or so without worry, just don't torque the thing if you've got 150 pounds or more on it.
Instructions are decent enough pictographs, with typical "Engrish": "ceneter" instead of center for instance. I was a bit surprised to see that glue was needed for the dowels and edge on the center piece vs cams, but was pleasantly surprised to find a perfectly sized tube of Elmer's like glue included. Took about ten minutes to put together, including going through the instructions first to make sure I didn't have anything...

Great Product
This is the easiest assembly I have ever encountered - had it together in under 10 minutes with no need for tools, and the overall construction is very sturdy and dependable. The white bars are heavy duty plastic, and the bins are not that sturdy. However, this is perfect for what I needed.
Good product
The bookshelf was delivered quickly and was easy to assemble by myself. It is sturdy and looks exactly like the picture. The cardboard containers at the bottom hold a good bit of stuff. I would recommend this bookcase to others.
