The two drawer locking lateral file come full assembled and can be used either free standing or under a desk shell. The floor glides allow for application where the flooring may not be perfectly level. It is finished in the mahogany laminate.
With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value.

Looks good but not durable
The cabinet was delivered on time. It came in assembled. It was heavy to move the whole cabinet so I took the drawers out before moving it. One drawer fell totally apart when I took it out and I had to spend 15 minutes to re-assemble it in addition to the scratch of my hardwood floor. It doesn't open and close smoothly after I put in the files. Not happy with the workmanship. I never expect something would happen like this on products made in Canada.

Attractive, sturdy, nice drawer slides, but...
This is an attractive file cabinet. It assembled well and looks great in our big hallway office area. It locks to keep drawers from sliding open.
My complaint is that the metal rails that support the hanging files are not quite long enough and slip out of the plastic supports at the least jostle or bump. This makes what was a successful purchase online not so successful as I try to figure out how to deal with these rails and supports to make them totally functional.
So a qualified recomendation.
Looks Better in Person!
I needed generous file space plus a credenza area. I purchased 2 of these (one with 3 small upper drawers) for my office and they are perfect. They are nice quality and heavy - plus they are attractive.
