Got My Back Up Against the Wall.....
This is a great media wall unit, it's the third one I've purchased through Amazon. The instructions are very simple to follow and it doesn't take long to put together. When constructed, it appears to be very sturdy as well. You can stagger the shelves any way you desire for small knick knacks and decor, and it will hold a large collection of dvds. I have mine sitting in my upstairs hallway, and they do not impede foot traffic at all, as they don't stick out very far as say a bookcase would.
Make sure to do some comparison shopping to get the best price (or a different color selection). Some sellers are asking well over $200.00 for this item, when you can purchase it for less than $100.00 easy (and that includes s & h).

Exactly what I needed!!
This is the PERFECT size for what I needed!! I don't like the look of DVD's so I didn't want to put them on display in my living room but I LOVE movies and I have a huge closet in my spare bedroom that has a large back wall. This was short enough that it wouldn't hit the top shelf in the closet and really long! I mainly wanted to use it for DVDs and Blurays... I don't really have that many CD's. But I posted a picture of how I have the shelves organized. Maximum DVDs that this will hold if you position the DVD's vertically are 300. If you look at the picture I have some box sets on the lower shelves that take up more space than the regular DVD cases. (15 shelves x 20 DVD's each = 300) Then there is the middle row which is perfect for Blurays (3 shelves x 20 Blurays = 60) and then I have CD's on the bottom shelf and each shelf holds 28 CD's (3 shelves x 28 = 84)
You can also stack DVD's horizontally on the blu-ray shelf and get an extra 39 DVD's which leaves room for 8...
Not the item in the picture
I was very disappointed when my package arrived as it is not the same one in the picture. I was very particular when searching for a new DVD tower because Atlantic had made changes to their design with new "short" shelves that, in my opinion, look sloppy compared to the nice flush shelves of models past. This entry clearly shows a model with flush shelves, but the one that arrived is the short shelf version. I dont believe the quality is less than that of previous models, necessarily, but where I would have normally rated this product 4 stars, it loses some for the way it was marketed. Plus the foolish decision to change the shelf depth. If it ain't broke...
