A filing cabinet without the file frame?
We bought this unit and it took about 90 minutes to assemble it. We bought it as a mail station/filing area for our home. Given it says "filing cabinet" I expected to be able to start filing after we built it but no such luck. The bottom drawer doesn't come with a metal filing frame (which I hate) or a built in system (which most come with now). Generally I have seen them come with plastic rails on the top to hold the file folders, this one didn't have it. So you have to buy a frame to hang the folders.
Update:
I bought the file folder frame and it worked great. The unit is built well and looks really nice. The drawers slide nicely. It is nice, but it's still super annoying that it doesn't come with everything you need to start using it. First time I bought a filing cabinet that had no way to actually put files in it!

File Cabinet
I was a little intimated when I first unwrapped the packaging. I thought I was in for a 6 hour Ikea assemply session, but to my surprise, this was so easy to put together! The quality is amazing for the price! It was exactly what I needed to go with a set I already had and it was a fraction of other filing cabinets I found online! Highly recommend!
Lots of assemble time
The finished product is quite nice. Appearance is great, it is quite sturdy, and the quality is average. If you get this file cabinet just be ready for assembly. It took me about 90 minutes of solid work to assemble and I had all the right tools on hand and am very skilled with them.
The directions are even easy to follow, but there is just a LOT of work to go into assembly.
Quality is OK, obviously everything is partial board with twist lock fasteners. But the finished produced does look nice. The function of the drawers is fine.
For the price I would buy another one (I already bought two), BUT I would have someone else put them together.
