Just what I wanted
I purchased two of these for our bedroom as night tables / personal filing cabinets. They look classy and elegant, and have plenty of surface area for a lamp, books, and other needs. The lower drawer is quite roomy, while the upper one could use a little more height. It's still a good buy for the money.
A note about packaging: one of our cabinets arrived with a broken top corner (they reach out considerably) even though it seemed to be packaged carefully. We didn't want to have to wait to send it back and get a new one, so we decided to keep it anyway. Hopefully you won't have the same problem.

Nice, but had some problems
This filing cabinet is well made, and looks great in our office, however it only came with one piece of hardware. When I contacted them they were very nice and said they would get the other one out to me. Well, I got the hardware, but it was not the correct style - gold, not silver, and the screws were not long enough even if I would have used them. I contacted them again and was told that the image they saw had gold pulls, not silver, so I sent them a picture, but I ended up going and buying new pulls and screws just to make it easier for me. It is a shame, though considering how much this thing cost.
Good Product for the money
Bought this to match the desk I had bought at another online retailer(they didn't carry the matching file cabinet - go figure). Pros - Nice piece of furniture, good solid construction. Cons - Careful how much weight is in the file drawer - when fully extended it can tend to tip forward. Casters are also on the small side, so it doesn't roll well on carpeted floors, although it shouldn't be a problem on a bare floor. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the product and service from Amazon.
