With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value.

Poor directions
First and foremost, this is an okay product: it's what might be called a "knockdown" shelving unit, assembled of veneered pressed sawdust board. It looks very nice, and all of the stars are for its looks.
MY problem with the piece is that assembly is VERY poorly explained, and in a household with children, having this piece is very risky. It is a TIPPING hazard, which is not labeled anywhere on the piece, on the packaging, or on the instructions. In my case, simply installing the second door overbalanced the cabinet, causing the piece to tip over (the piece was ruined, and a large gouge was taken from a solid wood coffee table). If a child was present, they would have been seriously injured.

I would buy again, already have
I like this product. Yes, it has disadvantages, but this is the 3rd one I have bought and I might get another one later. It must be anchored to the wall for safety sake. It says all wood, but I doubt it, it might be veneered particle board, which is not wood. Personally I have about 2,000 CDs and have not anchored the units to the wall, but I have no small kids. If it turns over on a small kid, they are a goner. I put extra rubber feet in the front side of the unit to make it lean a little towards the rear and it helps. I also put the heaviest things on the bottom shelf. I do not recommend others do this, but it works for me. JB
Excellent, would buy again
Everything seemed fit together very well -- I've put together cabinets like this before and have always had to do some kind of adjustment in order to make the doors fit right. With this product everything was drilled exactly as needed and all I had to do was put it together.
The directions were on one page with very little writing on it which frustrated me at first, but after a few minutes of looking between the diagram and the pieces from the box, it really wasn't that hard to put together. The wood and glass pieces felt high quality.. I found and bought this product because I did not want cheap plywood, and the dense fiberboard felt just fine to me, so if you are also paranoid about cheap plywood feeling furniture, I would say this is just fine. The only change that I would make is to piece it together with the addition of wood glue to really make it set together rock-solid, where now if you grab the top and twist it side to side, it has a little bit of give...
