Love it! Well made, sturdy, holding our 46" flat pannel
Absolutely love this stand. We had been looking forever for a TV stand for our U-shaped living room for forever! We bought a 3 sided sectional sofa and never thought of how we would set up the TV for everyone to see without mounting it on the wall. We searched Best Buy, IKEA, everywhere but everything that came in brown was more of a fake wood, ply board, or smoked glass, etc mess. This stand looks like a functional part of the living room furniture and not just a TV stand.
Now we are able to have the stand up against the wall and the TV at a diagnal for everyone in the room to see. It is holding up our 46" TV with no problem. I also love that the 1st row of shelves is high enough for the DVD and cable box and we aren't struggling with the line of sight from the remote.
The stand came in about 6 big pieces with easy to understand directions. I had it together in no time.

Is there any quality control?
I don't write many reviews for Amazon, but I think I need to counter some of the glowing reviews for this TV stand. I don't know if what I received was some kind of fluke, but when I opened this up, the top piece had 3 major scratches (luckily towards the back). Also, two corners were chipped on the same piece. Those are visible, and I'll be taking a Sharpie to them. I will say the stand was well-packed, so I think these scratches an dents happened before the pieces were packed. If only someone at the factory had just bothered to switch out the top piece, I wouldn't be so dissatisfied. That brings me to another point: this piece is more difficult to assemble than perhaps some other pieces because front and back are not clearly distinguished in the manual. A sticker or two could really save a lot of frustration! And again, maybe this also was a fluke, but one of the pieces had (black!) wood screws screwed into the pilot holes before assembly.
