Nice home office small file cabinet and scanner stand.
Bought this primarily as a stand for my document scanner. Just the right size for my home office. 22 1/2 inches high with castors installed. 22 inches front to back and 15 3/4 inches wide. If you choose not to install the castors, the cabinet is 20 5/8 inches high. Light grade sheet metal with sturdy enough plastic top. The drawers are well balanced on a smooth roller mechanism; a nudge will set an open drawer rolling gently closed. No assembly required except the castors. The castors are literally a snap to install, requiring only a Phillips screwdriver. The self-tapping screws bit solidly into their exactly aligned pre-drilled holes. The two small drawers on top are especially nice for a document scanner because you can open the top drawer and use it as a receiving tray for the pages as they feed through. The next drawer down is an excellent place to stash the user's manual and CDs and so on that accompany your scanner. The large lower drawer will hold letter-size files...

Good product,good service
A previous review said that the wheel-screws didn't fit, which made me hesitate to buy it. Turns out the reviewer was wrong- They are "self-tapping" screws, and they work just fine. Also, one should be aware that two of the wheels have locks, to prevent rolling. If you find your cabinet doesn't roll right, one or both of these might be locked.
Mobile File Cabinet - Stands the Test of Time
I needed to add a mobile file cabinet to one I purchased about nine years as I was expanding an office. I wanted to create an illusion of consistancy in the pattern of furniture. I looked to Amazon to offer the full range of file cabinets on the market without going downtown. I was not disapponted. The exact same model that I needed down to the casters and the dimensions were offered at, believe it or not, almost the same price as nine years ago. The only difference is that the now I had an additional choice of color: Petwer/Black in addition to White. I hope you can tell that I am delighted with my purcahse. This is a quality product that arrived in sturdy, rugid containers protecting the cabinet from the stresses of shipping. The instructions were clear and a snap to set up. It is quality piece of construction that will last many years. Moreover, it is able to be dressed up to accomodate lamps, plants, and pictures in your typical office/work environment.
